WorstCaseScenario

When it comes to men, women don't know how to be content with the 8,514,257 sq. ft Victorian on the corner overlooking the city, that's the nicest space available. They'd rather invest in the beat up fixxer upper in the slums so they can go in, work their "magic," and be left with a gorgeous house with a solid foundation that they can say they worked hard on, and it paid off. Until, in most cases, a new buyer comes along and gets the house they put so much effort into.

Magic does not exist.

DancingInTheRain

Today my mom and I had a really good talk about the present and the future, and what things are going to be like when my generation runs the world. Its truly an interesting thought. Did you know they refer to us as 'Generation Me' ? Meaning..we are more focused on ourselves than any other group before us. I'm concerned to see what we do with this place, and whether or not we'll learn how to be a little less selfless for the sake of everyone. Tough call.

We talked about what I want to do with my life. And even though I didn't exactly know and couldn't explain it, I was geniuinely excited. I know I'm gonna finish school and move. I know I'm gonna take some business classes and save some money and do my own thing. Be self employed? I have authority problems- my less than successful high school career can show you that. But I want to do something worth taking a chance on, instead of 'playing it safe' and getting a masters and then taking the chance countless graduated Americans are taking now, hoping someone will hire them. I'm gonna hire me! I'm not gonna owe uncle same 16 years worth of student loans and still be fighting for what little jobs that will be left. I feel like it can't hurt to try..

I'm on a positive note for the time being. Maybe even from now on? I won't push it. Lol

I've always had drive,
Gets me where I'm going when I don't have a ride.
